A study was made of the periodic fermentation process of the reaction of fatty acids with monoglycerides to obtain components of universal coolant under conditions of reduced pressure and high shear rate.

A lipase preparation was used as a catalyst. The reaction was carried out at a temperature of 57 ° C. The possibility of displacement of the reaction in the presence of water and the achievement of a high yield of the ether product was established.

The most important result of the work is the absence of formation of distant reaction water and a decrease in the load on treatment facilities.
